Organic Chemistry

This is the support site for Organic Chemistry being taught at St. Petersburg College – Tarpon Springs.  Organic Chemistry is the last science class that you take in a large lecture hall.  Once it is over, it is time to say goodbye to all of the Pre-Med students, so get your yearbooks ready.  It will be emotional, and there will be tears.

If you are in this class, the content mirrors some of the work that is on MyCourses.  If you are not in this class, feel free to follow along.  This site will be updated regularly with course notes, quizzes, and exams.  If nothing else, it is a great way to prepare.

Syllabus:  The map to the course, and a guide of how you can expect to be graded.

Homework:  This course will make use of the Mastering General Chemistry system.  It is the one thing that is truly required as part of your grade.

Weekly Outline and Notes: This is a rough guide regarding where we should be on a week to week basis.  Following this will give you a good idea of what sort of things you should be able to do.
